Omega-Skinz Production explains how every Omega-Skinz wrapping film is engineered using advanced Multi-Cast manufacturing,
ColourBrain layers and the UM-Warp6 adhesive system.

How Omega-Skinz is constructed?

Omega-Skinz wrapping film is engineered differently from traditional cast films. Instead of relying on a single casting pass, Omega-Skinz uses an advanced Multi-Cast system, where multiple layers are cast separately and then merged into one homogeneous, ultra-stable structure.

Each layer has a specific purpose; absorbing tension, improving colour depth and ensuring superior conformability.

The top layer is a transparent ColourBrain™ PVC film, designed to amplify the richness and clarity of the pigmented base layer. Depending on the product, the film is created using a 2-pass or 3-pass casting system, which enhances visual depth, material stability and long-term performance.

This layered engineering results in a film that is:

  • exceptionally stable during installation
  • highly flexible when heated
  • smooth and predictable to stretch
  • ideal for complex shapes such as bumpers, deep recesses, spoilers and door handles

When heated with a heat gun or infrared lamp, the film becomes soft and supple, offering maximum 3D conformability while maintaining structural integrity. The final result is a premium wrap film that delivers the unmistakable Omega-Skinz look.

The Multi-Cast System

The Multi-Cast system is the foundation of Omega-Skinz technology. By casting the layers individually, internal tensions are greatly reduced, giving the film outstanding stability and reducing the risk of overstretching.
It is this casting method that allows Omega-Skinz colours to appear deep, rich and uniform, similar to high-quality automotive paint.

Layer composition includes:

  • Industrial poly-coated liner

  • OS-ICS-21™ adhesive with micro air-release channels

  • Pigmented ColourBrain™ PVC cast

  • Clear ColourBrain™ PVC cast

This multi-layered approach is what sets Omega-Skinz apart from conventional wrap films.

UM-Warp6™, Our Most Advanced Adhesive

The newest generation Omega-Skinz films feature UM-Warp6™, an adhesive system developed to make installation smoother, faster and more predictable.

UM-Warp6™ provides:

  • Low initial tack – perfect for clean lifting, repositioning and precise alignment

  • Improved slideability – allows the film to move naturally until pressure is applied

  • Micro air-release channels – ensuring effortless, bubble-free application

  • Higher final adhesion strength – preventing edge lifting and improving durability

This adhesive is so effective that it helped achieve a world record full-body wrap time using UM-Warp6™ technology.

Smooth to start. Strong to finish.
UM-Warp6™ elevates the installer experience and marks the next step in wrap performance.

Built for Professionals

Omega-Skinz films are produced in Belgium at the Grafityp manufacturing facilities, using carefully controlled production environments designed specifically for high-quality cast films.
Each production run follows strict quality procedures to ensure:

  • consistent casting conditions

  • reliable material thickness

  • precise adhesive layer application

  • stable colour and visual uniformity from batch to batch

Every roll undergoes checks for dimensional stability, colour accuracy, adhesive performance and optical consistency.
This meticulous production approach ensures that Omega-Skinz films meet the high standards demanded by professional installers worldwide.
